All applicants must have successfully completed three years of Internal Medicine residency and must meet board eligibility requirements of the American Board of Internal Medicine. International medical graduates with a valid visa or permanent resident status are eligible to apply. International medical graduates are sponsored on J-1 visas.
Application for admission require submission through the Electronic Residency Application Service. The following should be submitted directly to the ERAS Fellowship Document Office:
- Personal statement describing your long-term career goals
- Curriculum Vitae
- Three letters of recommendation, including a letter from the Program Director of the applicants’ Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE or COMLEX scores
- If applicable, ECFMG Status Report
Following review of the completed application, selected applicants will be invited for interviews. During the interview visit, the applicant will meet with many faculty and fellows.
