Laura Adhikari, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  She is boarded in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology and has a special interest in cancer pathology.  She did her AP/CP pathology residency at the Mayo Clinic and cytopathology fellowship at the Ohio State University.  Her first job was at the Washington University School of Medicine where she was the Associate Director of the Cytotechnology School at St. Louis University and the Cytopathology Core Residency Director.  She moved to the University of Oklahoma in 2016 and served as the Director of Cytopathology and Genitourinary Team Leader until 2019.  She has many publications in areas of cytopathology, genitourinary pathology, and gynecologic pathology and has been an invited speaker to the Oklahoma State Association of Pathologists in 2017 and 2021.
