​Vascular and Interventional Radiology Faculty

Interventional Radiologists at OUHSC perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for a wide variety of conditions providing a broad range of services for patients with cancer, pain, diabetes, liver, kidney, and other conditions. Our board certified interventionists specialize in minimally invasive image guided treatments.

Since the fall of 2001, The Trauma One Center at OU Medical Center has been the only Level One Trauma Center in Oklahoma as verified by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the highest national rating a trauma center can receive. Our VIR department is involved in providing the highest level of care to trauma patients working with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and health care staff as well as specialists and specialized, state-of-the-art equipment capable of treating the most severe and critical injuries, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
