New & Prospective Faculty

Welcome to the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine!

The Office of Faculty Affairs & Professional Development is here to support you as you transition to the College of Medicine. Please review this site to learn more about our programs for faculty, and let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to meeting you!

New Faculty Orientation is designed to give those who are relatively new to OU an overview of research, education, and career development topics. The 2020-2021 College of Medicine Academic New Faculty Orientation will be structured as a series of seminars held over the course of seven months, beginning in October. Some sessions may be repeated between October 2020-October 2021 to give you more than one scheduling option; however, for now, we are offering only a single series of sessions. We strongly encourage you to sign up for this series. All sessions will be held virtually.
