Every year in May before the new class begins in June the current class has a big "Welcome" party for the new incoming students. We call it the Mentor Party. Each student is assigned a Mentor from the current PA class. It is somewhat a right of passage. New students join campus becoming the new "First" years and the current students are promoted to "Second" and "Third" years. There is food, games, and of course fun videos to give them an idea of what they have signed up for.
