How to Apply

The deadline for submitting all application materials to the OUHSC PA Program is September 1st. We encourage applicants to check the online application checklist often to confirm that all application components have been received.

To be considered for admission to the OUHSC Physician Associate Program, a completed application must be submitted through CASPA, and a supplemental application must be submitted to the OUHSC Office of Admissions and Records. Applications for the OUHSC Physician Associate Program Class of 2027 (matriculating June 2025) are available through CASPA beginning June 1st. For questions about completing the CASPA application, contact CaspaInfo@caspaonline.org or call 617-612-2080.

CASPA Application Deadline: September 1st

To qualify for entrance into the Class of 2027, the online application and all supporting documentation must be submitted to CASPA by September 1st. A completed CASPA application includes:

  1. CASPA application.
  2. Three letters of reference (entered on CASPA application).
  3. Personal statement (uploaded to CASPA application).
  4. Official transcripts sent directly from all schools attended.

After submitting the online application, applicants should check the CASPA Applicant Portal frequently to verify that references, personal statements, resume, and transcripts have been received and verified. You do not need to send transcripts to OUHSC.

OUHSC Supplemental Application Deadline: September 1st

The supplemental application for the OUHSC Physician Associate Program is located at https://apps.ouhsc.edu/admissions/. A separate $75 supplemental application fee is required.  Applications will not be considered complete until the CASPA, supplemental applications, and all the necessary documents for both applications have been received.

Check the status of your supplemental application frequently by logging in with your e-mail and password to your account at https://apps.ouhsc.edu/admissions/. For questions about completing the OUHSC supplemental application or TOEFL requirements, e-mail Katie Altshuler in the OUHSC Admissions & Records Office at Katie-Altshuler@ouhsc.edu.

English proficiency, TOEFL requirements: All applicants born outside the United States, regardless of citizenship status, must provide a TOEFL score of 79 or better on the Internet-based test or secure a TOEFL waiver by September 1 to be considered for admission.

The CASPA application and OUHSC supplemental application must be completed by September 1st for an applicant to be considered for admission to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Physician Associate Program.
