Dr. Shaiv Patel is a fellow at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Geriatrics. He received his bachelor’s in medicine and surgery from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Gujarat, India. He then went on to compete a residency in Internal Medicine at Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center. He has worked as a hospitalist and home health care physician. His medical interests include geriatrics, pulmonary and critical care medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, lifting weights, collecting sneakers and eating ice cream.
