Welcome to the Department of Neurology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. I am proud to lead a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, educators, and researchers who are dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of neurological disorders. At OU, we are committed to our three-part mission: delivering exceptional patient care, providing outstanding education and mentorship, and pursuing innovative research. Our shared goal is to improve brain health in our region and beyond.
Our clinical programs span the full continuum of neurologic care—including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, neurocritical care, multiple sclerosis, and beyond—offered through our main campus, VA hospital, and teleneurology services. Our mission is to ensure that every patient we serve receives compassionate, evidence-based care, whether they walk through our doors in Oklahoma City or consult with us virtually.
We take great pride in mentoring and training the next generation of neurologists, including medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty. We foster an environment that promotes lifelong learning and professional growth. Our training programs emphasize clinical excellence as well as interprofessional teamwork, scholarship, and leadership development. This comprehensive approach prepares our trainees to succeed in both academic and clinical settings across the country.
Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our department. Whether you're a patient, provider, student, colleague, or supporter, I invite you to explore our programs, meet our outstanding faculty, and join us in our mission. Together, we are dedicated to transforming neurologic care, education, and discovery—right here in Oklahoma and around the world.
