Dr. Mallappa attended medical school at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and completed her residency at the Crozer Chester Medical Center.

Dr. Mallappa graduated from the Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship program at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2012.

Dr. Mallappa is currently as Associate Research Physician at the NIH Clinical Center.
