Thomas P. Lehman, MD, PT, is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand and Microvascular Surgery. Dr. Lehman holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand, a certificate he has held since 2005.
Dr. Lehman earned his Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma College of Allied Health in Oklahoma City, OK, in 1992. He practiced as a licensed Physical Therapist, working through medical school and earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1996. Dr. Lehman completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2001. He continued his specialized education and training with a Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, NM in 2002.
Dr. Lehman currently serves as the Medical Director of Hand Trauma Services for the OU Medical Center as well as the Medical Director of the OU Physicians Adult Orthopedic Surgery Clinic. Additionally, Dr. Lehman is actively involved in the Doctors Demistify conference series and acts as the Oklahoma host of the annual Doctors Demistify Forearm and Hand Anatomy Seminar.
