Timothy A. Puckett, DC, MD

Timothy A. Puckett, DC, MD, is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Spine. He has taught both nationally and internationally in his specialty. He specializes in all areas of spinal surgery, from the cervical spine to the lumbar spine, with special interest in deformity work and trauma.
Dr. Puckett began his medical career with a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan Chiropractic College in Chesterfield, MO. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He continued his specialized education, receiving Fellowship training in Orthopedic Spine at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL.
Dr. Puckett currently serves as the Executive Chief of Staff of the OU Medical Center and held the Associate Chief of Staff position for the five years prior. He proudly holds the Dr. Henry James Freede Chair in Orthopedic Surgery, an endowed chair that he was awarded in 2008.
In addition to his contributions at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Puckett has served in yearly medical mission trips to India for many years.
