James R. Gregory, MD
Associate Professor
James R. Gregory, MD, is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedic surgery. His areas of interest include pediatric trauma, pediatric spinal deformity, and surgical management of neuromuscular syndromes.
Dr. Gregory earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2009. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2014. A further specialization in pediatric orthopedics was accomplished by completing a fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri, where he trained at Saint Louis Children’s Hospital at Washington University and at Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Dr. Gregory established his medical practice with OU Children’s Physicians in August of 2015. He serves as the Medical Director for the operating room at The Children’s Hospital, the Pediatric Orthopedics Liaison to the Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany, Oklahoma, and the Pediatric Orthopedics Liaison to the Pediatric Trauma Operations and Performance Improvement Committee.
Dr. Gregory is co-director of medical student education for the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and serves as the Faculty Liaison the Orthopedic Interest Group.
Dr. Gregory values patients and their families and tailors his management and care to each individual patients while taking into consideration the needs and goals of their families. Dr. Gregory sees pediatric patients at the University of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital, and McBride Orthopedic Hospital.
