Dr. Shawn Lane serves as a Clinical Veterinarian overseeing the animals involved in biomedical research. He comes from a background in private clinical practice but has spent his time here at OU collaborating with researchers and management to facilitate quality research while aiming to maintain the best animal health program possible.

Education:

  • BS - Animal Science, Michigan State University (2009)
  • DVM - Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK (2015)

Clinical/Research Interests:

  • Refining existing techniques
  • Training new users in advanced procedures/techniques
  • Improving animal welfare as a whole
