Point of Care Ultrasound

Point of care ultrasound is woven throughout our activities on wards and ICU patient care as well as incorporated into formalized lectures.

Standardized lectures with faculty trained in POCUS include introduction to ultrasound, vascular/procedural, cardiac, pulmonary, abdominal, and musculoskeletal. These formalized lectures are followed by hands-on training with standardized patients in our Clinical Skills Education & Testing Center.
