“The most important part of the POP review was that it provided me with a student's perspective on my lectures.”

“I received excellent, clear comments on my 2016 lecture and incorporated suggestions into my 2017 lecture”

“This is an excellent program”

"The comments made by those who evaluated my presentations were extremely helpful…no matter the delivery method (in-person vs virtual). The evaluators made constructive comments in a very kind and professional manner. I found the reviewers comments particularly thorough and beneficial."

The Process:

  1. The participant requests an observation by emailing
  2. A trained POP mentor will be assigned to you by the POP committee.
  3. The POP mentor will reach out to discuss your goals for participating in POP and gather details about your lecture.
  4. The POP mentor will attend or view your lecture.
  5. The POP mentor will complete the rubric and organize feedback
  6. The POP mentor will debrief you and provide written comments.
  7. ALL feedback will remain confidential and will not be shared with anyone other than you. (You may request a letter of completion to verify participation in POP.)
