Adolescent Medicine

The transitional period from childhood to adulthood brings diverse developmental challenges that warrant specialized care focused on these unique needs. Adolescent Medicine at OU Health Physicians has broadened the scope of available services to address the health care concerns of young people between the ages of 10 and 21 years.

Stephanie N. Ferrin, M.D., M.S, provides comprehensive and collaborative services for adolescent-specific issues. Uniting her broad range of expertise, Dr. Ferrin optimizes the health and well-being of adolescent patients using a strengths-based interdisciplinary approach to treat common, yet often complex and/or chronic conditions, including such concerns or conditions as:
