Welcome to the Hospital Medicine program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and OU Health! Our purpose here is simple - improving lives through healing and discovery.
Our Section of Hospital Medicine is comprised of faculty physicians and APPs committed to providing the highest quality patient care and delivering top-notch clinical education to Internal Medicine residents, medical students, and other clinical learners. We are committed to an ethos of patient-first decision making and continuous improvement.
On the hospital medicine services at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, we take care of some of the sickest, most complex patients in the nation. The variety of pathologies and clinical presentations we see are truly amazing. We are the State of Oklahoma’s safety net for difficult diagnoses and advanced disease given the expertise of our hospital medicine/internal medicine physicians and the broad complement of world class subspecialists we partner with.
