The Section of General and Community Pediatrics provides training to medical students, residents, and pre-and-post doctoral psychology fellows. Our educational activities include the Resident Continuity Program (directed by Cheryl Bryant), a longitudinal experience for all pediatric residents in our Continuity, Fostering Hope and Super Niños clinics. We also provide a four-week ambulatory pediatrics experience for interns in the pediatrics and family medicine residencies within the Sooner Pediatric Clinic (directed by Naila Aziz). Interns develop medical knowledge and patient care skills while engaged in preventative and acute general pediatrics care in a medical home setting.
