Radiation Oncology Resident, PGY 5
Originally from Minnesota, I studied Human Biology at Michigan State. I then pursued my M.D. at MSUCHM. I spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Bin Chen’s big data and artificial intelligence lab, and my work emphasized drug repurposing and genomic normalization techniques. My medical intern year was completed at Hurley Medical Center. Professional interests include benign disease, prostate cancer, image recognition, and precision medicine. Outside of work, my wife and I compete together in esports and explore the great outdoors. I decided upon the University of Oklahoma after learning about the tremendous opportunities for clinical research, the program’s willingness to adapt to residents’ individual interests, and the strong professional relationships I saw between the faculty and residents.
