We are excited to welcome you to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program! Our program has been continually accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical education (ACGME) since 1952.
The goal of our residency program is to provide a comprehensive education in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This prepares our graduates to pursue any career path they may choose in the specialty. We currently have 24 residents in our program and accept 6 new residents each year.
Our program is located in Oklahoma City, OK, and we are affiliated with OU Health. Our campus is fortunate to have all medical, allied health, and basic science medical training collocated. At our Mother & Baby Center, we perform nearly 4,000 deliveries and 3,000 surgeries annually. The majority of our clinical experience is at the Health Sciences Center Campus which includes the OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center (South Tower and North Tower), Mother & Baby Center at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health, OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center, OU Health Physicians, and Veteran's Affairs Hospital. During the third year, residents also have the opportunity to participate in private practice rotations at Mercy Hospital in Ada as well as a Federally Qualified Health Center.
We invite you to explore our program and discover the outstanding opportunities available to our OB/GYN residents.
