One of my passions is seeing underserved & rural patient populations receive better access to mental health care.

About Me:
I was raised in a very rural town but always had the desire to move to a bigger city. Currently, I am living in the Plaza District with my wonderful partner and our 3 uniquely quirky dogs. Ask me about board games, local restaurants, or my mildly excessive plant obsession and we can go on for hours. I'm passionate about advocacy, LGBTQ+ care, and finding new ways to expand access to mental health services.
Favorite thing to do in OKC:
Take Khira to all the different parks, going to the May Arts Festivals we have, exploring new restaurants/bars with friends

My wife and I live in the Mesta Park area with our maine coon cat, Albus. Passions of mine include financial literacy among physicians and making the best pizza this side of the Mississippi.

About Me:
I'm originally from New York, but I have been in Oklahoma for the last 20+ years, so my husband likes to say that I can't claim New York as home anymore, I have to say I'm an Okie! I have three wonderful kiddos, and I'm lucky enough to have a lot of family nearby. My husband is a Radiology resident at Integris, and that has led to a lot of hangouts between the two programs! I truly consider my co-residents my family, and I bring the mama bear energy when it comes to resident advocacy. I want to make sure that residents of all programs feel heard and that we can get together to make OU an even better place to be than it already is!

The people and the culture! Everyone is so supportive, including faculty. Someone is always there for you and looking out for you. I've never felt like I could not reach out to any number of people when I've needed even the smallest question answered.
