Interviews

The 2025 Residency Candidate Interviews will be held virtually this year.  Selected applicants will receive email notifications with available interview dates.  Date selection will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Applicants selected to interview will have a minimum of 72 hours after receiving an interview email to accept or decline.   If declined or no response, the interview slot will be offered to another candidate.  All interviews will take place remotely via the Zoom platform.

The night before the interview, we will offer a virtual “Meet and Greet” session with some of our current residents.  The meet and greet is not mandatory to attend.  This virtual meeting is intended to give you an opportunity to meet with some of our current residents in more relaxed atmosphere.

On the interview day, you’ll start with a welcome and program overview led by our Program Director, Dr. Cody Thomas.  Following that, you will have five 20-minute virtual interviews with faculty and chief residents, with short breaks in between.  After interviews, there will be breakout rooms where you can chat with our current residents about life in Oklahoma City, the resident experience, and take a virtual tour of our facilities.  Finally, you will have a brief visit with our Program Coordinator, Shawn Elwell, to review resident eligibility.

This year’s interviews will be held from 8 am – 12 pm (CST).  The dates are:

  • Tuesday, October 29, 2024
  • Tuesday, November 5, 2024
