On behalf of the residents and faculty of our department, we thank you for your interest in the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center pathology residency program!
The program where you complete your residency training has a huge impact on your future career, and this can make the process of choosing a residency program somewhat stressful.
The OU Health Sciences Center provides a great place to learn anatomic and clinical pathology. Our program provides a diverse array of cases and a balanced curriculum. Having the state’s tertiary referral hospital and an expanding cancer center provides us with a broad range of interesting cases and allows us to interact with clinicians of all specialties.
Additionally, we have anatomic and clinical pathology faculty who are very engaged in our education and consistently strive to improve the program. They are always available for additional teaching and feedback, and many of them have won medical student and resident awards for teaching.
Plus, Oklahoma City is a great place to live, with many fun things to check out and see, including our famous Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team!
Our very cohesive group of residents would be happy to give you more information about our program.
