The University of Oklahoma Epilepsy Fellowship is currently accepting applications for the following fellowship start dates:
- July 1, 2026
- July 1, 2027
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply early.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria at the time of fellowship start:
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Neurology residency or Child Neurology residency
- Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Neurology or Child Neurology
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Oklahoma
- Ability to meet all OU Health and Graduate Medical Education credentialing requirements
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or eligible for J1 visa
Application Materials
In accordance with ACGME fellowship standards, a complete application includes:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Including education, training, clinical experience, scholarly activity, and publications (if applicable)
- Personal Statement
Describing interest in epilepsy, career goals, and how the fellowship aligns with professional objectives
- Three (3) Letters of Recommendation, including:
- One letter from the Residency Program Director
- Additional letters from faculty familiar with the applicant’s clinical performance and scholarly potential
- USMLE transcript
Additional materials may be requested in accordance with OU GME policies.
Application Process
Applicants should submit required materials through the standard fellowship application process or as directed by the program. Questions regarding position availability, timelines, or application submission may be directed to the Program Director or Program Coordinator.
