About me: I'm from Houston and spent 10ish years in South Caroline before moving back. I completed my undergrad in Houston and medical school in San Antonio. I am interested in neuromodulation therapies in psychiatry. i have a cat named Juno that I stole from a recent neurology chief. My fiancee is an internal medical resident at another program and at the time of writing this, our wedding is in a few months.

Best thing(s) about the program: The people - the program does a great job of finding people that really mesh well together. The attendings and staff are supportive and patient. There is lots of exposure to consult-liaison psychiatry . There are many learning opportunities but good safety nets and support to facilities them.

Best thing(s) about the program: The attendings and faculty are really supportive and the culture is great. You get to see a wide variety of patients and everyone is friendly. Leadership is open to feedback. My co-residents are just co-workers, they're friends outside of work too.
