Kingman, KS

Favorite Restaurant in OKC:
The Loaded Bowl, Picasso Cafe, Sunnyside Diner, Empire Slice House

About Me:
My personal passions are evidenced-based medicine, mental health advocacy, comprehensive sexual health education, and being kind to animals and our planet. I originally wanted to be loud and dramatic on stage, but now I'm just loud and dramatic at resident get-togethers. I live near the Plaza District with my partner, who is a licensed professional counselor, and our two Boston Terriers, Franklin and Minko, who also provide mental health services in the form of therapeutic lap sits and general goofiness.

Favorite Thing to Do in OKC:
Going to Picasso Cafe's monthly four course veggie dinner and wine pairing

Best Thing about the Program:
Julie Frost, our program coordinator, is an absolute gem of a human. She provides endless support and coffee, and we are so fortunate to have her.

Favorite Restaurant in OKC:
Jimmy B's! Easily one of the more unique restaurants in the city. Honorary mentions go out to Bar Cicchetti, FRIDA Southwest, La Baguette, and The Ranch

About Me:
First, I was from Canada, then California, but now I say I'm from Texas! Love binge-watching shows and picking up (and usually quickly giving up on) new hobbies. Medical passions include resident advocacy, psychiatric education, and doing what I can to improve the quality of life of my patients. Personal passions include my dog, good food, good friends, and a good night's sleep.

Favorite thing to do in OKC:
Trying out new restaurants with friends - feels like every time I log into instagram there's a new food spot on the scene, just waiting to take more money out of my bank account. Also love checking out live music - The Jones always has some great concerts going on.

Best Thing About the Program:
The people - regardless of how difficult things can get, I'm so fortunate to have found a group of residents (and faculty!) that's so understanding and supportive.
