The OUHSC internship offers the stipends and fringe benefits described below. Intern salary stipends are determined each year and are published on the APPIC website. Stipend level: $36,500.
Benefits
Student benefits include library and parking privileges for interns. An Employee Health Insurance policy is provided to interns funded by OUH (e.g., Child Clinical, Pediatric Psychology, Neuropsychology tracks). Additional Dental and Vision coverage is available at the OUH-funded intern’s expense. Interns funded through the Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA) Graduate Psychology Education (GPE) Program Grant (D4054837), Integrated Behavioral Health track, will be provided with a Student Health Insurance policy that does not include Dental or Vision coverage. Health Insurance for all interns becomes effective July 1.
Liability Insurance
The Department provides professional liability insurance through the State Tort Claims Act.
Leave
Interns receive 200 hours of Annual/PTO, Sick, and holiday leave, and 16 hours of Academic leave.

Professional Expenses
Interns are provided with financial assistance to attend at least one conference. Additional reimbursement for licensure expenses and educational materials may also be available. The amount of reimbursement is determined annually by departmental budget.
