Stipend
The base stipend is currently $55,650.
Insurance
Health insurance is available for all positions. Residents sign up for insurance through the campus HR system, and family members can be
added to the policy. The health insurance policies do not include Dental or
Vision insurance. Residents can sign up for Dental and Vision insurance at an additional cost.
Liability Insurance
Professional liability coverage is at the resident's
expense. If a resident chooses not to purchase a liability policy, then the
resident will be covered under the State Tort Claims Act for Medical
Providers.
Leave
Residents receive 200 hours of paid leave for scheduled and unscheduled time away. They also receive 40 hours of paid academic leave. Holidays are based on the OU Health schedule and are listed below.

Professional Expenses
Residents are provided with financial assistance to attend at least one conference. Additional reimbursement for licensure expenses and
educational materials may also be available. The amount of reimbursement is
determined annually by departmental budget.
