Salaries
Salaries are competitive with regional university training programs and are adjusted periodically.
Vacation
Each resident receives 15-days (Monday through Friday) of paid vacation annually.
Sick Leave
Each resident accrues sick leave at the rate of 1.25 days per month for a maximum of 15 working days.
Educational Leave
Residents may request up to five days of educational leave per year.
Health, Dental and Life Insurance
Individual insurance is provided for residents. Family coverage is available for a modest premium.
Parking
Free and convenient parking is provided.
Malpractice Insurance
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences provides malpractice insurance for professional activities within the residency program.
Other Benefits
Photocopying and library privileges are provided free of charge. Discounted OU athletic tickets are available.
Call Schedule
Night call is light, taken from home, and usually averages about three patients a month.
