Program Details

The section of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine prides itself on the diversity of our faculty, which has members of a wide variety of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and religious practices. We seek to recruit and retain a diverse group of fellow physicians whom will work alongside our diverse faculty members. We provide an environment where each individual feels welcomed.

We have created a fellowship program that is immersive and challenging. However, we are acutely aware of physician burnout and have assembled a program that ensures the ample clinical experience necessary to become a skilled intensivist, while simultaneously ensuring dedicated time for both physical and mental health. There are available resources for mental health, continued education on fatigue mitigation, and time available for routine health and dental care appointments. We encourage taking the allotted vacation time, which is done during research months.
