Applications for academic year 2026-2027 will open in mid-August, and students are notified of selection in approximately one month.
Club Scrubs is a hands-on, exciting, interactive club for High School students interested in exploring healthcare careers. Students engage with different healthcare fields, working directly with current OU Health Campus students, faculty & staff, to encourage the pursuit of higher education & healthcare career paths. The program generally takes place twice a month on Tuesdays evenings, primarily at the University of Oklahoma Health Campus. Participants will explore a variety of healthcare specialties through hands-on activities led by current medical professionals. Priority is given to students from low-income, first-generation, or rural backgrounds, and to graduating seniors.
Meetings take place on Tuesdays, primarily on the OU Health Campus. Participation is by acceptance into the program only. Accepted or waitlisted applicants will receive notice via email. Students are expected to complete the application themselves with parent/guardian permission and guidance. Applications written by parent/guardians will not be considered.
