Why I chose OU: for residency because the program truly felt like a family environment that would support me through this next chapter of my life. My conversations with each resident and faculty member before match day was met with contagious laughter, sincerity and a hope and desire to continue to build those relationships in the future. Having lived in Oregon my whole life, I have confidence and excitement knowing that this residency will embrace me and prepare me with high quality training.
