Division of Critical Care Medicine

Anesthesia Critical Care training at OU begins during the intern year at Baptist Medical Center and continues during the CA-1 and CA-2 years at OU Health.  Our experiences in the neurosurgical ICU compliment the perioperative training that residents receive in treating and understanding the physiology and pathology of critically ill patients in the acute setting.

Dr. Pamela Roberts trained in Internal Medicine and Critical Care. Dr. Roberts received her Critical Care training from Wake Forest University.

Anesthesia faculty members that provide care in the Neurosurgical ICU are part of a small but integral physician core that provides care to thousands of severely injured patients each year.
