Dr. Gachechiladze is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and serves as an Associate Program Director of the Neurology Residency Program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She received her medical degree from David Tvildiani Medical University in Georgia. Subsequently, she completed her neurology residency at the University of Tennessee, followed by fellowship training in both Vascular Neurology and Epilepsy at the University of Maryland.
Her diverse training background has significantly influenced her clinical approach to the management of stroke and epilepsy, as well as her research interests. Her primary research goals focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
