Jessica Jarnagin, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident
Although born in Illinois, Jessica considers Naples, Florida to be her hometown. She graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Biological Sciences before attending medical school at the University of Texas Health in San Antonio.
A scholar at heart, Jessica worked with multiple organizations across campus throughout her medical school days, mentoring and advising pre-med college students, leading obstetrics simulations teaching for third-year medical students, and taking an active part in multiple research initiatives. Also passionate about population and community health, Jessica developed a reproductive health curriculum for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and assisted in medical evaluations for those seeking asylum in the United States.
Outside of her work as a physician and advocate, Jessica enjoys reading (she maintains a very active GoodReads page), soccer, and golf.
