Lauren Pierce, MD

Lauren comes from a military family and moved around a lot growing up. After graduating with a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arkansas, she attended medical school at the University of Arkansas College of Medicine.   

Throughout medical school, Lauren pursued her passion for leadership through multiple avenues.  Most notable she loved being a peer tutor for the medical students in the classes below her.  She was heavily involved in the UAMS chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association and a Board of Director member for the student run free health clinic.

As the owner of an energetic husky, Lauren finds much of her downtime spent outdoors.  She also enjoys exploring the local terrain, trying new restaurants, watching rom-coms or golfing with her husband.
