Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident
Sam calls Austin, Texas home. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Biomedical Engineering before attending medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Throughout medical school, she served on the UTSW Student Government, where she was elected to serve as the Senator of Sprague College and was responsible for planning and hosting events, motivating students within the college, improving the UTSW mentorship program, and assisting with campus-wide professional and social events. Sam has a passion for serving her community, volunteering with the United to Serve Community Health Fair to provide education over the Women Infant & Children subsidized nutrition program and performing wellness exams and basic health screenings. Along with her professional interests, she stays active with dancing, yoga, jogging, hiking, and snowboarding. Sam also loves cooking and baking cookies and birthday cakes.
