Dr. Miller is an Professor in the Department of Family and Preventative Medicine and an Professor in the Department of Cell Biology.   Dr. Miller teaches the anatomical sciences to graduate students, PA students, dental students, and medical students on the health science center campus.  Dr. Miller also is the course director for the Pathophysiology course in the PA curriculum.  Dr. Miller is a basic science researcher at the Dean McGee Eye Institute.  His collaborative work with Dr. Michelle Callegan focuses on the pathogenesis of infectious diseases of the eye.  Dr. Miller is also keenly interested in medical education and is involved in research to improve student outcomes in the biomedical sciences.  Prior to joining the PA faculty at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Miller served as a Professor of Biology for twenty-one years at Oklahoma Christian University.  Dr. Miller received his Masters of Science and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1997 and his BS Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
