Obstetrics and Gynecology
Erin Barnes, MD
Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident
Erin grew up in Lake Winnebago, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a BS in Biochemistry. Erin came to us with experience in direct patient care, as she spent two years as a nurse technician between undergraduate and medical school. She then attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma.
Throughout medical school, Erin honed her organizational and interpersonal skills as Class President/Treasurer following terms as Vice President and Social Chair of the College of Medicine Student Executive Council. Having come to an interest in OBGYN early in her medical career, Erin took an active role in the OBGYN Interest Group as well as Medical Students for Choice, an organization which works to educate medical students about all facets of reproductive health and promote reproductive justice.
When she’s not hard at work for the women of Oklahoma, Erin enjoys a nice run/walk around OKC. She considers herself a movie and television connoisseur and aims each year to watch all the Academy Award nominees as well as any and all low budget RomComs.
