Dr. Cherry is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Section of General and Community Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), where she is the Director of Clinical Psychology in the Section of General and Community Pediatrics, as well as Emphasis Track Director for the Pediatric Emphasis Area for the Clinical Psychology Internship program and Pediatric Emphasis Area for the Clinical Psychology Post-Doctoral Residency Program at OUHSC. Her primary clinical appointment is housed in an integrated multidisciplinary pediatric clinic, the Sooner Pediatric Clinic, serving children of diverse ethnic, economic, and social backgrounds. She provides clinical supervision for practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral residents. Her research and professional interests include integrated primary care and access to care, medical education and training, and professional issues in health service psychology education and training.
