Dr. Risch is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Risch's clinical work focuses on assessment and treatment of youth who have experienced trauma. She is a National Trainer in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). She provides clinical supervision for interns and residents. Dr. Risch is also a trainer in a model for managing secondary traumatic stress (Components for Enhancing Clinician Experience and Reducing Trauma) and actively incorporates this into supervision.
