Tarlynn comes from the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and the Oneida/Onondaga Nations from Six Nations, Ontario, Canada. She grew up on the East Coast as her father served in the Navy and has lived across the country. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota, Morris, and her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.
In her free time, Tarlynn enjoys beading and sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is passionate about addressing socioeconomic and racial healthcare disparities, with a special focus on American Indian and Alaska Native health. Tarlynn is excited to be training at OU, looks forward to putting down roots in Oklahoma, and hopes to practice full-spectrum rural family medicine after residency.
