A longitudinal track that spans across all 3 years, dedicated to equipping pediatric residents with the skills and knowledge for leadership and advocacy roles related to addressing equity, disparity and social justice.
The basics
- serve as an active member for our IDEA committee dedicated to bringing topics addressing equity, advocacy, disparity and social justice to our pediatric department as a whole
- Dedicated Y week half time for LEADS related education
- LEADS journal club 4x a year
- Create a scholarly project through which you examine your topic with a LEADS lens
- 4 weeks of our advocacy rotation
- Attend at least 1 conference dedicated to LEADS topics
