The University of Oklahoma Tropical Medicine and Hygiene Course is an international educational initiative led by the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in partnership with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the University of Colorado, the University of Brasília, and CEMETRON in Porto Velho, Brazil. Bringing together renowned experts in tropical medicine, infectious diseases, public health, and global health, the program combines self-paced online education with hands-on clinical and laboratory training. Designed for healthcare professionals seeking advanced knowledge and practical skills, the course prepares participants to address the complex health challenges facing tropical and resource-limited regions around the world.

Applicants Should Possess:

  • A medical degree from an institution listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
  • An interest in tropical medicine, infectious diseases, travel medicine, public health, global health, or humanitarian medicine.
