The Office of Access and Community Engagement at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is committed to creating opportunities that advance excellence in healthcare education, research, and patient care. Through collaboration, innovation, and inclusive engagement, we work to support a stronger, more connected medical community and help shape the future of healthcare.
Our work reflects the College of Medicine’s commitment to uncompromising quality, exceptional service, innovative education, advancing knowledge, and institutional strength. Together, we strive to expand access, foster meaningful connections, and create lasting impact across our community.
Through pre-med programs, educational experiences, and community outreach initiatives, the Office of Access and Community Engagement helps introduce students to the possibilities of a career in medicine and support them along the path toward medical school. From engaging middle and high school students to providing guidance, mentorship, and experiences for aspiring pre-medical students, these programs help participants explore healthcare careers, build confidence, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to pursue their goals. The office also partners with schools, organizations, and communities across Oklahoma to bring health education, service opportunities, and meaningful connections beyond the walls of the College of Medicine.
