Continuing Medical Education

The Irwin H. Brown Office of Continuing Professional Development at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine provides continuing medical education that supports the ongoing learning and professional growth of physicians and other health care professionals. Our educational programs help participants strengthen their knowledge, develop their skills and stay informed about advances in medicine, with a focus on applying what they learn to patient care.

Through live courses, conferences, online learning and Grand Rounds, the office offers opportunities to explore topics relevant to clinical practice across a range of specialties. These activities serve physicians and the broader health care team, supporting continued learning throughout their careers. The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
