Yesenya Gonzalez Ridgway, MD

Yesenya grew up in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area near Fort Worth, TX where her family still resides. She then attended the University of North Texas in Denton, TX where she obtained her degree in Biology with minors in psychology and sociology. She later obtained her dual degrees in medicine and Masters in Public Health in Houston, TX at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Health Science Center- Houston campus. She enjoys discovering new restaurants to try out with her husband, playing video games, reading epic fantasy novels, playing with her chihuahuas (Chaco and Coco), and spending time with her son. Yesenya is excited to be training in Oklahoma and is passionate about healthcare disparities and working with underserved populations.
