Clinical/Research Interests:
Dr Foulks interests in research have been mainly focused in ways to reach and provide medical services in rural areas of the state. His work in investigating acquired CMV through mother’s breast milk was a poster presentation at both SSPR and PAS and was he was awarded a Travel Award for his poster presentation at SSPR in 2012. Dr Foulks worked with Dr Makkar on telemedicine neonatal service to a portion of the state in Oklahoma that was deficit in this much needed service and has helped keep babies closer to their parents and home. Dr Foulks is currently working with Dr Sandhu and Dr Makkar in providing telemedicine help on neonatal transports and will hopefully be utilized further with pediatric transports.
