Joel Prince, MD

Joel Prince, M.D. is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at OU Health and serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Dr. Prince earned his medical degree with Honors in Research from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed his general surgery residency at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital/USF Morsani College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the OU College of Medicine.

He has authored 10 publications, 2 published abstracts, and 10 published questions. During his fellowship at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Prince received the 2023–24 Outstanding Teacher Award and was recognized with a Top 25 Poster Abstract at the 2023 Plastic Surgery The Meeting conference.

In addition to general reconstructive plastic surgery, Dr. Prince has a special interest in facial plastic surgery and microsurgery.
