The combined sub-specialty faculty includes a total of 14 Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians. Four faculty members have additional board-certification in Sleep Medicine, two faculty members have additional certification in Interventional Pulmonary.
All medical sub-specialties are represented in the Department of Medicine, and faculty members from these disciplines participate in the training of pulmonary/critical care fellows by providing consultative services, co-management of patients, or formal didactic activities. Faculty members from other departments of the College of Medicine participate in the training program as well. These disciplines include General Surgery, Surgical Trauma and Critical Care, Thoracic Surgery, Urology, Orthopedic Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Anesthesiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuro-Critical Care, Pediatric Critical Care, Radiology, and Pathology.
