Ahmet Demir, MD

Ahmet Demir, M.D. FEBOPRAS, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at OU Health in Oklahoma City with advanced fellowship training and broad clinical experience in reconstructive microsurgery, body contouring, aesthetic breast surgery, craniofacial surgery, facial reconstruction, and aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Demir completed his plastic surgery residency training in 2017 and subsequently developed extensive experience in trauma reconstruction, wound care, reconstructive surgery, and aesthetic surgery. He later established and operated his own private practice, where he focused primarily on aesthetic surgery and developed extensive experience in facial, breast, and body-contouring procedures, as well as minimally invasive and nonsurgical aesthetic treatments.

He subsequently completed three advanced clinical fellowships, further expanding his expertise in microsurgery, body contouring, and craniofacial surgery.

In 2023, Dr. Demir pursued advanced microsurgical fellowship training at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he gained experience in DIEP flap breast reconstruction, complex free-tissue reconstruction of the head and neck and extremities, lymphedema microsurgery, and complex reconstructive procedures.

In 2024, Dr. Demir continued his advanced body-contouring fellowship training through the Life After Weight Loss program with Dr. Peter J. Rubin at UPMC. His training focused on comprehensive body contouring for patients following significant weight loss from bariatric surgery and medical weight-loss therapy. His experience included lower and upper body lifts, circumferential body lifts, belt lipectomy, fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty, panniculectomy, breast augmentation, breast lift and breast reduction procedures, liposuction, body etching, and fat grafting. 

In 2025, Dr. Demir began advanced craniofacial training at Cleveland Clinic, gaining experience with a broad range of pediatric and adult craniofacial and facial reconstructive procedures. His training included cleft lip and palate surgery, pharyngoplasty, cranial vault remodeling, spring cranioplasty, orthognathic surgery, facial implants, facial feminization procedures, hairline advancement and frontal setback procedures, brow lift procedures, migraine surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, laser procedures, and the management of other complex craniofacial conditions.
